The Russian brand has had one designer since the beginning, and therefore - despite many developments, has always retained the same DNA. The KRAKATAU designer maintains anonymity. The product is an object of art, and the artist prefers to stay behind the scene. The combination of innovative development and extraordinary design has been the key factor for KRAKATAU’s success on the Russian and international markets. The brand is represented in popular stores all over the world such as Isetan (Tokyo), Coevo (Seoul), Bijenkorf (Amsterdam), Galleria Lafayette (Shanghai) and in more than 600 other stores worldwide. In 2019, KRAKATAU opened two flagship stores: one in Moscow at 20 Kuznetski and St. Petersburg, and another one in the heart of Amsterdam (Nieuwe Spiegelstraat 30) – near Van Gogh and the Rijksmuseum.
