Core Responsibilities

Strategic SEO Development (30%): Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, with a strong focus on E-E-A-T principles. Research the latest SEO developments and AI influences on search results for the American market.

Data Analysis & Tool Management (25%): Use leading tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and others to conduct keyword research, monitor performance, and identify optimization opportunities. Analyze performance data and generate reports that support strategic decision-making.

Content & Technical Optimization (20%): Work closely with content creators and developers to implement on-site SEO improvements and ensure best practices are followed for all digital assets. Leverage AI tools for efficient and scalable content ideation and creation.

Link Building & Digital PR (15%): Lead link-building initiatives through strategic partnerships and digital PR campaigns to build domain authority and topical relevance. Develop strategic collaborations that align with the organization's specialized sector.

Cross-functional Collaboration (10%): Work effectively with cross-functional teams in content, design, development, and marketing. Demonstrate strong communication and a proactive mindset when translating complex SEO challenges into actionable business solutions.

• HBO+ education in Marketing, Communication, or comparable field
• 3+ years of proven SEO experience, preferably in e-commerce environments
• Track record of implementing successful content and link-building strategies
• Proficiency in various SEO and analytics tools with strong data interpretation skills
• Familiarity with AI-driven content tools and their application within SEO workflows
• Strong knowledge of the American market and international e-commerce SEO
• Experience with compliance-sensitive sectors and reputation management
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, specialized organization
