Speaking, reading and writing Dutch is a requirement

How do you make our customers happy?

By ensuring that our e-commerce platform operates safely and complies with all regulations. That’s easier said than done: you’ll encounter more than a few challenges along the way. Staying ahead of constantly evolving rules and guidelines, for example. Identifying risks before they escalate into issues. And developing innovative solutions to mitigate those threats. At the end of the day, this is about creating a secure online environment for our customers. That is why we take compliance so seriously. Also, there’s the regulatory pressure, making it even more urgent to be in control. Can you help us navigate the increasingly complex requirements? And give us strategies to make risks go away, or at least: deal with them effectively?

What you do as E-commerce Risk & Compliance Program Manager In this role you’ll see to it that our e-commerce operations adhere to regulatory demands and industry standards, while managing risks that come with the territory.

Let’s break it down.

First, it’s up to you to prepare the monthly risk & compliance meetings. Second, you’ll act as the primary point of contact between the business teams and the central risk & control team. Nobody is better suited for the job, since you have a general expertise on relevant regulations, laws, and standards, and know which task to delegate to whom. Key themes: fraud prevention, data protection, and maintaining a level playing field. As E-commerce Risk & Compliance Program Manager you contribute to risk-mitigating projects in the form of ad-hoc support and monitoring. Also, you’re a driving force behind training and awareness initiatives. What adds even more complexity to this role, is the cross-functional stakeholder engagement that we expect of you. Think: risk topic owners. And: the central risk & compliance team. Can you balance their interests?

  • You are important to the monthly governance risk compliance process
  • Overview, assessment, mitigation: you make risks less risky
  • If this takes innovative solutions, you’ll invent them
  • Acting as point of contact between the business teams and the central risk & control people, you catalyze a smooth collaboration
  • You support and monitor projects on an ad-hoc basis
  • Risk & compliance training and awareness programs: you’re constantly pushing for those
  • As a natural communicator, you skillfully manage expectations
