At adidas as a Manager Digital Analytics with focus on Product and Consumer Insights you are responsible for delivering cutting-edge analytics services to stakeholders, enabling them to make fact-based decisions. Based on multiple data sources, you manage the generation of insights that help adidas understand consumer behavior and product purchase patterns to ultimately help drive sales.
You will be actively involved in cross functional projects; working on uncovering new insights, helping to solve complex business problems, building better analytics processes and delivering new capabilities. Using both descriptive and predictive analytics, you will help adidas to be more relevant to the consumer and make more informed product decisions.
Your scope goes beyond just delivering insights.

Main areas of focus
Analytics
Digital Business Performance
Ensure analytics insights drive business impact and consumer experience ambitions and help achieve market sales plans
Co-initiate and implement new reporting capabilities with a focus on product and consumer insights based on advanced descriptive methodologies
Take ownership of business intelligence front-end development by providing self-service dashboard solutions to your stakeholders
Support stakeholders in the use of digital analytics tools to select appropriate KPIs, define targets and ambitions, monitor performance and derive trends and growth opportunities
Build a strong internal and external network, connecting business teams with analytics and tech teams to create strong relationships
Investigate business problems and hypothesis and raise awareness of challenges and opportunties identified through analysis
Regular Deliverables
Trading reports for key product categories and consumer segments
In depth analysis covering the full range of the consumer journey
Business peformance updates to senior leadership among Europe ecommerce as well as global teams
Scope and track key strategic initiatives and create transparency about their success within wider organization.
Key Relationships
EU e-commerce teams (Buying, Planning and Trading / Digital Visual Merchandising / Growth / Finance / Analytics)
EU market teams (Business Development, Retail, Wholesale, Key Accounts)
Global Digital Analytics
Global and EU Data and Analytics
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Technical-Skills
Strong working knowledge with data querying languages (e.g. SQL) working with large datasets
Other skills such as scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R) are optional
Experience with data visualization tools and BI solutions (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Looker or Power BI)
Foundational knowledge of predictive and statistical modelling techniques
Data Management & ETL process building is optional
Ability to understand and analyze complex business questions using databases
Business and Communication-Skills
Extensive knowledge of retail/ecommerce business processes and KPIs
Excellent communication skills: ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear, concise and compelling manner
Comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
Builds excellent relationships with technology and business partners
Fluent in English both verbally and written
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in the field of Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent
4+ years of experience in Analytics (preferably with a focus on product and consumer insights analytics)
Experience in eCommerce/retail environment is a plus
